The Center for Extended Reality, Convergence and Open Sharing System, at Chung-Ang University which is responsible for nurturing global talent in the immersive media sector under the Convergence and Open Sharing System initiative, and the College of Virtual Convergence will host the International Conference on Immersive Media and Content 2025 on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, in Seoul.
This conference aims to explore advancements and transformations in immersive media and content, showcasing cutting-edge technologies, the latest research outcomes, and industry-academic applications while providing future insights.
In addition, through panel discussions, the event will facilitate the exchange of diverse perspectives and approaches, enhance participants' insights and global competencies, and contribute to the revitalization of the industry ecosystem.

Center for eXtended Reality, Convergence and Open Sharing System, at Chung-Ang University
We conduct education and research in the field of immersive media to foster creative and convergent talents needed in the era of digital transformation.
We provide personalized interactive learning experiences using advanced IT platforms and AI along with innovative teaching methods such as game-based learning, project-based learning, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Additionally, we build the necessary infrastructure for immersive media-related equipment and facilities to ensure that students have free access for their use.
we are building strategic partnerships with the world’s leading universities to enhances our international competitiveness. Our students engage in diverse cross-cultural experiences, including collaborative classes with international peers, multinational project teams and worldwide hackathons.
Furthermore, we are expanding our educational approach through industry partnerships, offering internships and collaborative curriculum. This approach helps students start new businesses, think creatively, and make new things in tech.
Through these diverse activities, we will contribute to the development of the immersive media field and foster global leaders who will lead future society.
Virtual Convergence College is
the first new digital technology college established by Chung-Ang University among the Korean main universites, in pursuit of pedagogical innovation with cutting-edge Edu Tech--immersive media and metaverse.
